Ephesians 6:10-11 MSG
“God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way.”
Have you ever had to confront any of your fears? Maybe you were scared of snakes or spiders and came across one at home. You wanted to run but knew you had to get it out of your home. What do you do? Everyone has something they came across that causes some fear. It may be spiders, public speaking, making a mistake at work/school or getting stuck in an elevator in a tall building.
As Christians, we don’t have to live like this. It makes Satan happy when we live in fear because it is the opposite of what God wants from us. We must put on the full armor of God, so that we can stand strong against the Devil’s tricks. Next time you face something and you start to feel the fear come up inside of you, remember who it is that you serve. Remember that God is victorious over every situation and with Him by your side, you do not need to fear anything.
Do not let the enemy trick you into thinking that you have to be scared about anything. When you hold up your shield and keep moving forward with the Lord, nothing can come against you.
